The TV Line does a sterling job of sorting out the S(t)erlingses for G.G. of Plainview,
complete with visual aid.

John Cashman's review of Midnight Cowboy (the ABC Sunday Night Movie!) is as ambivalent as Gary Viskupic's illustration is literal.

The Monday night listings feature an unusual close-up on daytime fare, with Zero Mostel in long underwear for his appearance on the Sesame Street anniversary show. It says sixth anniversary, but it should be fifth, as the show premiered November 10th, 1969.

Election '74 coverage pre-empted whatever crap was usually on Tuesday night. WSNL 67 placed an ad for their own Long Island-centric coverage. Public TV stations WNET 13 and WLIW 21 felt compelled to inject yoga lessons amid the political competition.

Viskupic offers one of his drawings for a late Wide World Special about Harold Lloyd. The longer I look at it, the more I want some of whatever Visk's having.

Finally, an abrupt end to an exhausting week: Saturday's late night schedule, with Fright Night on WOR being replaced by dumb basketball. At least there's Circus of Horrors on channel 11, with a mildly encouraging review by Cashman.
