Newsday TV Book, April 24-30, 1983.

This is not an especially exciting edition of the TV Book, but it has a few items of interest to it that made me want to post a coupla scans...

First, we have Robert Blake as Jimmy Hoffa on the blood-red cover, touting the TV movie Blood Feud. (Click pics for clarity.)

The TV Line Q&A column, now with credits.
Off Camera has the classic pairing of Jessica Walter and Mel Tillis. (Apparently, when I edited this scan a while back, I felt the need to highlight that item. Go know.)
There's a "Pool Planner's Guide" in the center of this ish (with a cool intro page by Newsday staff artist John Argonis), chock full o' boring ads for all your suburban oasis necessities, but it's hard to pass up this bit of New York Jets beefcake in the sturdy, 'stached personage of Mark Gastineau.
Finally, Gary Viskupic, whose incredible illustrations were a mainstay of the NTVB for over a decade (but which were at this point being phased out), offered this quaint take on the yearly WNET 13 auction, The Thirteen Collection.

Maybe I'll scan a few more, so stay tuned and begin breath-holding... NOW!
